                                                  ~ A Phantomhive Story ~

Ciel walked the lonely mansion halls. Each foot step echoed into the darkness. Slowly reaching up he pulled his black eyepatch from his eye and dropped it to the floor. Tears formed in his eyes as his steps became slower and weaker.

Falling to his knees he finally broke. Crying into his hands he screamed out. His loud cries turned into soft sobs as he looked up. He was no longer at the mansion, but more in a large dark space. Lit only by a distant light.

Ciel stood up staring at the light. A growl came from behind him, he turned to find two glowing red eyes staring back at him. He looked back towards the light and broke into a run. He ran as fast as he could towards the light but he never seemed  to get closer. The growling grew louder behind him, he then felt clawed hands on his shoulders. He let out a loud yell...

"Young master...,"the demon woke his master finally.

"Seb...Sebastian? It was the nightmare again..." Sweat covered the boy's body. His loose night shirt soaked.

"Maybe a warm bath will refresh you and calm you down a bit?"

The young master gave a nod. Leading the boy, Sebastian began to run the water in the tub. He then turned to the boy and began to undress him. Ciel stepped into the warm water and laid back. Letting the water cover all but his face. Sebastian smiled and left the room. When he returned he brought with him a warm cup of tea and clothes. The boy sat up and took the tea from his butler. He sipped it lightly. Then looked up at the demon.

"Why do you think I keep having that same nightmare every time I close my eyes?"

Sebastian looked back at the boy with a blank look. "I'm afraid I can't explain it..."

Finishing up his tea,Ciel handed the cup to the demon. He laid back in the water. "Maybe it means something. Something that is to happen soon. A sign of the future, a warning."

"It's very possible," the demon agreed.

After two weeks the young master's nightmare ceased but wasn't forgotten. He still thought about what it could possibly mean every day. Sebastian tried to assure him it was nothing, but Ciel had a strong feeling it had meaning.

Late one stormy night a knock sounded at the Phantomhive mansion doors. Sebastian rushed to answer it, as he pulled the door open a rush of wind blew his hair back. A large figure stood before him holding something. As he got a clearer look it was the Trancy butler holding his master. Stepping aside he let the two in. Claude looked at Sebastian almost with disgust, but it seemed he was in need of help.

"My master was outraged and ran away. He was caught in the storm and when I found him he had passed out with a fever."

Sebastian stared blankly. His worst enemy was asking for help. It was trouble waiting to happen if he allowed them to stay in the mansion. They were a threat to him and his master who he was sworn to protect. And if he was to provide protection for his master then he could not allow them to stay.

"I truly am sorry for your misfortune but I cannot allow you to stay at the Phantomhive mansion tonight or any other night."

"Please...Just until the storm passes. We won't be a bother I promise."

Giving into Claude's pleas,Sebastian nodded his head and led the devoted butler to a guest room. It wasn't long before Alois was laid in the neatly made bed and treated for his fever. The Trancy demon waited by his master's bed side.

Sebastian left them to check on his own master. Ciel was asleep, just the way the demon had left him. Sebastian then went throughout the mansion checking to make sure everything was ready for the next morning.

Claude had slipped from the guest room with his master in hand. Alois had faked the whole sick act. The two searched the mansion and finally came to Ciel's room. Claude released his master and picked up the young earl who was sleeping so peacefully before him. Ciel did not wake though, Claude and Alois left the mansion into the stormy night. By morning they had made it to the Trancy mansion.

Ciel woke to the sound of laughter. To his right a window with deep red curtains hung. He looked to his left to see a blonde child staring back at him. Ciel gasped as he realized it was Alois Trancy.

"Sebastian!!!" Ciel yelled frantically.

Alois giggled at Ciel's reaction. "Your with me now. Claude will make sure your damned butler doesn't interfere with our fun." Alois crawled into bed with Ciel. Ciel backed away from him. "Oh come now,you have nothing better to do. It's not like you have anywhere to be." Alois called for his butler.

"Yes...?" The demon inquired.

"So I have nothing to worry about?"

"Nothing at all my lord."

"Good...Bring some tea down for me and my friend." The butler bowed and left. After a moment  he reentered the room with a tray in hand. It had two tea cups and an elegant tea pot. He set it on the small table beside the bed. Aloise took one and handed it to the boy beside him. And then took one for himself.

Ciel sipped the tea and almost immediately fell over paralyzed. His cup falling from his hand to the floor. Alois laughed sinisterly and grabbed Ciel's face. "Now I can do what I want and you can't do anything about it."

The blonde master jumped from the bed, pulling Ciel behind him by the arm. Dragging the boy like a light doll. Claude opened a door that was in the room. It led to an open dark space. Alois pulled Ciel into it, pulling him to the back wall in the dark room. He lifted Ciel's arms and cuffed them to chains that hung from the wall. Ciel hung by his arms, unable to move.

Alois laughed as he looked down upon his enemy. Claude held a box out to his master. Alois took it and sat by Ciel and opened it. Ciel could only see a dim outline of the others form. Ciel felt something sharp pierce his side. Ciel let out a loud shriek as another pierced his stomach.
Ciel could feel the warmth of blood run down his lower body. Tears formed in his eyes as Alois Trancy tortured him. After hours and hours of pure pain Alois decided to stop. He had become bored.

"Claude...I think I will just leave him in here to rot..." He smirked as he turned and left the dark room with his butler.

Ciel began to cry, it was just like his nightmare. Only there wasn't a light. It was complete darkness and no hope of escape. Ciel let his head bow as he awaited death. He heard breathing and looked up to see the red eyes. Exactly like the ones that looked back at him in his nightmare. But instead of sharp hands coming down on his shoulders it was soft comforting ones.

"Everything will be okay bocchan."

It was Sebastian! He had finally come. Ciel coughed as his butler freed him from the chains.
"I'm sorry it took so long young master, I knew I shouldn't have trusted them. Not even for a moment."

Ciel jumped into the demons arms and embraced him. "Im just glad your here now!"
Sebastian smiled softly as he picked the young master up and quickly left the room. On their way out, Ciel spotted a large puddle of blood. After that he closed his eyes and fell asleep in his butlers arms.

When Ciel awoke he was in his own bed looking up at his demon butler. A tear ran down the boys pale cheek as he reached towards Sebastian like a small child. The demon smiled and held the boy tightly in his arms. He leaned close and kissed the young masters head. Ciel blushed but leaned towards Sebastian closing the space between them. Ciel's face was hot and the demons lips were cool against his own.
